Location: YTU Davutpasa Campus, Istanbul
SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER
- Experience in backend technologies (Python, Django, PostgreSQL, RESTful Web Services APIs, OOP) / Will be a plus to have in-depth knowledge in other areas other than the software languages mentioned above.
- At least 6 years of experience in developing web applications,
- Experience in the integration of microservices into consumer web applications,
- Experience in Python/Django code-based production, extensive testing, and e-commerce development,
- Technical problem solving ability
- High motivation and eagerness to learn
- Understanding user needs with analytical skills competency,
- Time and stress management and teamwork compatibility
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS POSITION?
- Development of the new back-end features,
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use,
- Participate in product delivery through the entire SDLC of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support to build applications and APIs primarily using Python/Django framework,
- Produce solutions in a cause-effect relationship and to interpret them technically
- Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and trade-offs,
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability,
- Develop and maintain the existing web products/projects,
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
