Auditstage goes live in September. We're looking for experienced auditors to own the implementation of our software and serve as trusted champions for our clients throughout the rollout.

Auditstage builds agentic auditing software for financial auditors, covering the entire audit process end to end. It’s the Aura, Clara, Omnia and Canvas of the future. But one that is built by auditors for auditors.
We are based in Leuven and backed by one of Belgium's leading venture capital firms, with Jürgen Ingels as one of our board members.
Role Description
As a an Audit Champion you are a forward deployed auditor who leads the implementation of Auditstage inside an audit firm. You bring the platform, the methodology behind it and your own audit experience into the room, and you make the combination work in practice.
Across an implementation you will:
- Lead configuration for the engagements in scope
- Work alongside the engagement team on live audits, inside the software, so the team learns by doing
- Develop champions within the firm who can run the following engagements independently
- Act as the single point of contact for the firm, answering questions quickly and keeping every user confident and productive in the platform
- Bring what you learn on site straight into our roadmap, in weekly contact with our product owners and developers
That final point carries real weight. You will be closer to the daily reality of an audit team than anyone else at Auditstage, and your read on what the profession needs next will shape what we build.

- Turn the playbook into a repeatable process others can run
- Build and lead a team of champions who excel in onboaridng our clients
- Lead the customer success journey in Belgium and abroad
Where this role sits
Three things come together for this unique job profile:
You stay an auditor. You will use your technical knowledge every day, read a file the way a reviewer reads a file, and talk to partners and managers as a peer who has done the work. What shifts is where your responsibility lies. The audit opinion and the professional judgement behind it remain with the firm. Your focus moves from completing one file to raising the standard across an entire practice: audits delivered on time, to standard, with a team that enjoys the work.
You build the relationship. You are the face of Auditstage at the firm, and the trust you earn shapes how that firm grows with us.
You shape the product. Every implementation teaches us something about how the standards, the data and the software should fit together. You are the one who sees it first and the one who carries it back. You can take the development of new features into own hands and experiment with prototyping what the audit firm needs.
Our ideal candidate
- Strong experience of 4 to 7 years in external financial auditing
- Big4 background is major plus
- A passion for numbers
- Fluency with technology and curiosity for how software gets built
- Some innovation experience is a major plus
- A talent for teaching
- Composure and warmth with clients
- Strong working proficiency in English and Dutch
- A third language is a major plus
