We are hiring a Solution Consultant who will play a critical, customer-facing role, positioning our Billing and Customer Information System (CIS) solutions to Investor-Owned Electric, Gas, and Water utilities across North America. In this role, you will support our Sales and Business Development teams by showcasing and presenting our software solutions to potential and current clients. You will leverage your knowledge if IOU business processes to position the Itineris offering within those business processes and to improve them.. This position is vital to advancing Itineris’ presence and impact in the investor-owned utility market.

As a Solution Consultant, you will…
  • Support Customer Needs in Billing/CIS: Collaborate with Business Development to understand and address the specific needs of potential utility customers in the investor-owned sector, with a focus on billing and revenue management requirements.
  • Play a Customer-Facing Role in Pursuit Strategy: Actively engage in prospecting and pursuing targeted accounts, delivering insights into how our Billing/CIS solutions align with client requirements.
  • Design and Deliver Demos and Presentations: Craft and deliver impactful software demos and presentations, showcasing how UMAX Billing/CIS solutions can transform utility operations and billing processes. Tailor these demos to address each client’s specific needs and objectives.
  • Facilitate Client Workshops for Billing Solutions: Lead workshops with potential clients to thoroughly understand their billing and CIS requirements, offering strategic insights on best practices and aligning our solutions with client needs.
  • Create Customized Solution Proposals: Work closely with Sales and Business Development to create customized solution proposals that address client pain points in billing, revenue management, and customer information.
  • Prioritize Billing and CIS Enhancements: Identify and prioritize product enhancements based on project, customer, and market demands, keeping our solutions aligned with industry shifts and emerging needs in billing and CIS functions.
  • Guide Project Transition from Sales to Delivery: Facilitate smooth transitions from customer acquisition to project delivery, collaborating with implementation teams to ensure successful adoption of Billing/CIS solutions.
  • Lead in Early-Stage Implementations for Billing/CIS: Serve as an integral member of initial implementation teams for investor-owned utility projects, providing hands-on support to deliver successful outcomes in billing and revenue management.
  • Stay Informed and Represent Itineris at Industry Events: Keep informed about innovations and industry developments in Billing and CIS technology. Represent Itineris at industry events and trade shows, promoting our solutions and expanding industry knowledge.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Billing and CIS Solutions: Act as a subject matter expert by recommending enhancements to existing products, services, and processes to better meet customer needs and expectations in billing and CIS.
  • Drive Solution Innovation and Collaboration: Work closely with product management, development, and other internal teams to influence solution development, delivering cutting-edge offerings that maintain competitiveness and meet evolving customer demands in billing and revenue management.
