The Technical Project Manager will lead and oversee the delivery of technical projects for NGDATA's US market, ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction. This role involves playing a dual role as a PMO (Project Management Office) and interacting with clients to manage project resources, track time and materials (T&M), and ensure effective project management. The position will also involve coordination with colleagues based in both the US and India, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of projects.

​​​​​​​Tasks and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage technical projects for US clients, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Act as the PMO, managing project resource planning, budgeting, and time & materials tracking
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client interactions, addressing project requirements and issues
  • Coordinate with teams in the US and India to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet objectives
Additional / occasional tasks:
  • Conduct regular project review meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Provide support for project-related audits and compliance requirements
  • Assist in refining project management processes and methodologies
Leadership Workload:
  • This position involves approximately 40% leadership tasks, including managing project teams and client interactions, with the remaining 60% focused on project management and coordination tasks

​​​​​​​Competence Profile

Background / Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Experience / Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years in project management roles, with experience in technical project management and client interactions
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with resource planning, budgeting, and T&M tracking
  • Strong understanding of technical projects and IT systems
  • Proficiency with JIRA for project tracking and management
Personal Competences:
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective project plans and strategies
  • Leadership: Proven capability to lead project teams and manage client relationships effectively
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members across different time zones
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address project challenges and provide solutions
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage projects in a remote and cross-cultural environment, adapting to changing needs and priorities
Language Requirements:
  • English: Fluent (both written and oral)
