The Technical Project Manager will lead and oversee the delivery of technical projects for NGDATA's US market, ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction. This role involves playing a dual role as a PMO (Project Management Office) and interacting with clients to manage project resources, track time and materials (T&M), and ensure effective project management. The position will also involve coordination with colleagues based in both the US and India, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of projects.

Main responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage technical projects for US clients, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Act as the PMO, managing project resource planning, budgeting, and time & materials tracking
- Serve as the main point of contact for client interactions, addressing project requirements and issues
- Coordinate with teams in the US and India to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet objectives
- Conduct regular project review meetings with clients and internal teams
- Provide support for project-related audits and compliance requirements
- Assist in refining project management processes and methodologies
- This position involves approximately 40% leadership tasks, including managing project teams and client interactions, with the remaining 60% focused on project management and coordination tasks
Competence Profile
Background / Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in project management roles, with experience in technical project management and client interactions
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Experience with resource planning, budgeting, and T&M tracking
- Strong understanding of technical projects and IT systems
- Proficiency with JIRA for project tracking and management
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective project plans and strategies
- Leadership: Proven capability to lead project teams and manage client relationships effectively
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members across different time zones
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address project challenges and provide solutions
- Adaptability: Ability to manage projects in a remote and cross-cultural environment, adapting to changing needs and priorities
- English: Fluent (both written and oral)
