We're expanding our commercial team and are looking for a high-performing Account Executive to help us scale our impact across target industries.
Role Overview
As an Account Executive at Timefold, you will be responsible for driving new business by targeting mid-to-enterprise customers across key verticals (e.g. logistics, manufacturing, retail, field services, and workforce management). You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to proposal development and contract negotiation.
This role requires a consultative selling approach and deep understanding of technical buying processes. Your focus will be on selling complex, API-based solutions that are embedded into customer workflows and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor for our customers and prospects
- Own and manage the full sales cycle for net new customers
- Build a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and partner referrals (get help from our experienced SDRs)
- Conduct deep discovery to understand customer pain points, technical requirements, and business goals
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product to scope solutions and run tailored demos or pilot programs
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving technical and business audiences
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in collaboration with leadership and legal
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene (we use HubSpot/Salesforce)
- Act as the voice of the customer internally to influence product roadmap and GTM strategy
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3–7 years of quota-carrying experience in B2B SaaS sales
- Proven success in selling API-based or developer-first solutions
- Experience with complex technical sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (CTOs, product managers, engineers, and ops leads)
- Familiarity with at least one vertical among logistics, supply chain, retail operations, workforce scheduling, or transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical fluency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with evolving processes
Nice-To-Have:
- Background in optimization, AI/ML, or operational planning
- Exposure to usage-based pricing and integration-led GTM models
