What you will be working on

Our vision is that AI agents are rapidly evolving towards full fledged virtual employees. You will work together with CTO on building the AI social media manager.

How we work

Writing code by hand is over, software engineering is only getting started.

We heavily rely on coding agents, mainly Claude Code. We are at the frontier of agentic software engineering and invest heavily in optimizing how most efficiently work with coding agents.

We do not tolerate slop. We hold our code to the highest standards. We read our code if we need to, which is more often than not. We engineer our workflows so that our coding agents produce high quality code in the first place, and help us with efficiently reviewing the code of our agents and our colleagues.

We aspire to be the best computer scientists. As we need to spend less time on syntax, we have no excuse for not choosing the best technology, designing the best architecture, assuring maximal performance and maximally automating workflows.

We are end-to-end builders, not code monkeys. We start from high level feature descriptions and own the final result. We take ownership of the user experience, the architecture and the code.

Who you are

You want to become the best AI Engineer.

You are an AI-native computer scientist who wants to work in an AI product scale-up that aims to be at the frontier of building with AI because:

- You are a heavy user of coding agents.

- You don’t want to fall behind because 5 layers of dinosaur bosses don’t understand how fast the world of software is changing.

- You don’t want to have useless meetings with too many people, to make decisions you can make yourself every morning.

- You want to move at the speed of AI, not the slowness of the old world.

- You can see yourself as the tech co-founder of your own company someday.

- You want to learn how you build and operate a real AI product.

- You don’t want to build a Proof Of Concept that will never be used, but have real impact from day 1.

But you also cover the basics:

- You have at least a Masters degree in Computer Science.

- You live in Belgium.

- You have a point of view on clean code. You find over-engineering viscerally annoying.

- You get a warm feeling from looking at an elegant architecture that is just right.

- You can think like a product person. When a spec is vague, you ask the right two questions, and then make reasonable calls on the rest.

- Although you can make things work in any programming language, you are comfortable in TypeScript.

And it would be nice if you:

- Can show contributions to open source projects.

- Can show a portfolio of hobby projects.

- Shipped a product which has paying users.

We serve hundreds of paying customers across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the US, backed by, amongst others, SmartFin, PMV and imec.istart.

The process

3. If you are selected, we build stuff together for 1 day in Antwerp, 9am to 5pm.
